Do you remember the TV series 'Happy At Home'? I've been crazy about before and afters since I was little. They still have a certain fascination with me even today.
Hi, I'm Anja, founder of Annoush Designs. As a trained architect, I have always been enthusiastic about all sorts of topics related to interior, design and DIY.
However, I only recently discovered my true passion in refurbishing and upcycling old furniture. So many of them unnecessarily end up at the dump because they no longer seem up-to-date. I am changing that!
In my small studio in Berlin/Brunswick, I'm creating beautiful, diverse and unique designs, lovingly handcrafted officially since 2020, which are just waiting to make your home even more beautiful. On my own, I am responsible for sourcing and purchasing furniture pieces, for the development and implementation of new designs, for sales and the dispatch processes. Because I handle all this myself, I can personally guarantee a high-quality product.
All of my pieces of furniture are unwanted and discarded - thus second-hand and 'perfectly imperfect'. Each of them is charming on its own, and always comes with its very own history. And when they end up in my workshop, you can be sure that I have a whole new vision for them.
Some pieces have been in families for several generations. I would like to help ensure that they are lovingly kept a few more and make their contribution to sustainability, showing the value of preserving old furniture and minimizing the ecological footprint.
And who knows? - Perhaps you're feeling inspired to give your grandparents' old dresser another chance and bring it back to life!
